Made to the millimetre – to your numbers
Three rules before you start
- What you enter is the finished size. We cut exactly to your millimetre and deduct nothing.
- Measure every dimension at three points – top, middle, bottom, and left, middle, right.
- Use a metal tape measure and note the values in millimetres.
Pick your mounting type
Each mounting type is measured differently. The four variants below are exactly the four options in the configurator.
W = width · H = height
On the glazing bead
The blind sits directly in front of the glass, screwed into the bead.
- Width: measure the glass including the rubber seal, at three points – the smallest value counts.
- Height: the glass including the seal, bead to bead.
The glazing bead must be at least 20 mm deep.
In the recess
The blind hangs inside the opening, fixed to the ceiling of the recess.
- Width: measure at three points and use the smallest value.
- Height: at three points, from the top down to the sill.
We cut exactly to the size you enter – leave a small working clearance against the smallest measured width so nothing rubs, and check the window handle.
On the wall, above the opening
Mounted above the window: covers more of the wall and lets less light past the sides.
- Width: decide how far the blind should extend past the opening on each side – what you enter is the finished width.
- Height: from the bracket position down to where the blind should end. Mind the sill and the radiator.
The raised slat stack needs room – the configurator shows the stack height as soon as you enter your sizes.
No drilling, on the sash (PVC windows)
Clamp brackets grip over the top edge of the sash – no screws at all.
- Width: measure the sash and decide how much of it the blind should cover.
- Height: along the sash, down to where the blind should end.
