How do I measure correctly?
Measure the width and the height at three points and use the smallest value. The measuring guide shows exactly where to put the tape for each mounting type.
What is the difference between mounting in the recess and on the wall?
In the recess the blind sits inside the opening: screwed into the glazing bead, which has to be at least 20 mm deep, or into the ceiling of the recess. On the wall it is mounted above the opening, covers more of the wall and lets less light in at the sides. On PVC windows it can also be fitted with clamp brackets, with no drilling at all.
Which operation should I choose?
Cord and tilt is the standard and the cheapest, available at every size. The endless chain can be chosen from 380 mm wide on 25 mm slats and from 600 mm on 50 mm, and is easier on tall windows. The battery motor exists only on 50 mm wood, from 830 mm wide.
How do I clean and care for wooden blinds?
Dust the slats regularly with a soft cloth or a duster. If needed, wipe them with a barely damp cloth and dry them straight away with a dry one. Avoid abrasives and any excess of moisture.
